Heidi - Lead Stager, Designer, and Owner
For more than 25 years, I’ve been passionate about creating beautiful, functional spaces that inspire joy. My journey began with my first Home Staging course 20 years ago and has taken me through a winding path of refinishing furniture, earning an Interior Design degree, and working in kitchen and bath design as well as drafting. Each step has shaped the designer I am today.
Now, as the owner of Purple Duck Staging and Design, I get to live out that passion every day—helping homeowners, agents, and families showcase the true potential of their properties. Whether preparing a home to sell quickly and for top dollar, or transforming a personal space into something extraordinary, I find immense joy in helping people live surrounded by beauty and function.
✨ My Approach: Buyer First Staging
My specialty is staging vacant homes with a strategy I call Buyer First Staging. I begin by analyzing the neighborhood, floorplan, and unique features of each property. Working closely with the seller and agent, I identify the target buyer demographic and design each space to highlight the lifestyle they’re seeking. This intentional approach ensures every room tells a story that resonates with buyers the moment they walk in.
🌲 Rooted in Oregon
I’m proud to be a native Oregonian, raised in Florence and now settled just outside Eugene with my family. After several years in Utah, the call of the Pacific Northwest brought us back home, where we’ve created a small homestead. When I’m not staging homes, you’ll find me gardening, reading, spending time with my kids, or updating my own home with fresh design ideas.
At Purple Duck Staging and Design, my mission is simple: to create spaces that connect emotionally, function beautifully, and help homes sell faster.
